Can my child get partial credit for late work?
Late assignments will be accepted late, but it will be marked down 50% of the total correct points. All missing work must be completed one week before the end of each grading period for both progress reports and report cards. After these dates, the grade will be entered as a zero and cannot be changed.

Do you grade on a curve?
I rarely grade on a curve, however, I do sometimes throw out bad questions on a test or homework assignment.

Do you offer extra credit?
I don’t offer much extra credit, perhaps once or twice per trimester.

What if the homework section of your Web site has not been updated?
If by 4:00 p.m. the day’s homework section is blank, then there is no homework for that day, even if I assigned it in class. The homework will be reassigned for the following day.

How do I check my child’s grades online?
Click here to check grades. Follow the instructions provided to register. Feel free to contact me if you're having difficulty registering.

How can I get help for my child?
There is usually before and after school tutoring available for all classes. Please check with the office or contact me to find out about the availability of these programs. Homework Assistance Program 2007-08

If it’s for one of my classes, I’m available before or after school, and during lunch. I just need to know in advance that they are coming.

What if my child is going to miss several days of school due to illness or family necessity?
You should contact the office to explain your situation. Arrangements can be made to ensure that your child doesn’t fall behind in their school work. This is especially important if you will be taking your child on a planned trip that will keep them out for 5 or more days.
